There are two hotels that we have room blocks for that are downtown and next to the Alamo -- The St. Anthony and The Emily Morgan. See the "Travel" tab for links to the room blocks. Transportation will be provided to the venue on Saturday night from both the St. Anthony and Emily Morgan.

Mehendi, otherwise known as henna, is a dye paste associated with positive spirits and good luck that is applied on the body via intricate designs. A Mehendi ceremony is held as a way of wishing the bride good health and prosperity as she makes her journey on to marriage.

The Shaadi constitutes our formal Hindu wedding ceremony. The ceremony will happen immediately after the Baraat (a parade of the groom and his side of the wedding).

The Sangeet is a night of dancing and music with friends and family. This musical night is a celebration of the union of not only the couple but the bonding of both families.

For the Sangeet on Friday, colorful Indian attire is preferred, but cocktail attire is acceptable. Saturday will be a black-tie event. Both events take place for a portion outside, so please choose your footwear accordingly.

Uber and Lyft are both reliable in San Antonio. If you are coming from the airport, the Taxi service is usually the same price as Uber/Lyft. For Friday evening, the Alamo is walking distance from both the St. Anthony and Emily Morgan. There is limited parking at The Alamo, so please use Uber/Lyft if you are coming from a different part of town. On Saturday evening, there will be a shuttle from both the St. Anthony and Emily Morgan to the San Antonio Country Club. Buses will depart from the St. Anthony and Emily Morgan at 450pm and 530 pm for the San Antonio Country Club.
